Spend a few days in Jaisalmer to enjoy this laid back place. You will definately be bombarded with offers to do a camel safari. A must do that's great fun. One night is enough though! Your bum will thank you. Sleeping under the stars and eating freshly cooked food in the dunes is an experience you will never forget. Choose an honest operator, it's worth paying a little more to be sure you're with a group that looks after its camels and drivers.

Shop until you drop at all the market stalls but have a look at many shops before deciding to get an idea of the real price rather than what you are first quoted.
